The Peking Acrobats at the Calgary Stampede 2014

The Calgary Stampede is officially over, and I will get to my grand recap shortly, but first I wanted to tell you about my last day find! It's the unexpected experiences that leave a lasting impression. I went with a couple of friends for one last go at the grounds yesterday, it was hot, I was Stampede tired and all I wanted to do was get one last deep fried something from the mid-way and head for home. I was talked into going to see the ENMAX show at the Corral. It was the Peking Acrobats.

Fun Fact: Did you know, Shaobo Qin from Ocean's Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen is a member of the Peking Acrobats?! Well it's true. The acrobat thief from the movie is actually an acrobat in real life.

I was fascinated by everything that they did in their show and I was the most thrilled by the chair stacking and balancing part of the act. I'm not going to lie, there were moments I thought I was going to have an anxiety attack just watching it. No one fell, but I was prepared for the worst.

Now that the greatest outdoor show on earth is over, I am going to have the greatest indoor nap on earth.
