MG's Pick of the Month: The Ceremonies (Guest Post)

According to their Twitter bio they are ‘three brothers that make music with meaning.’ I’m not entirely sure how I feel about that, but kudos to them for just putting themselves out there.

Actually, their whole Twitter feed is kind of wild, and it seems like they’re really just going for the whole introspective artist thing, so good work. If you like swimming in a sea of pretentiousness (which is awesome because one of the brothers looks like a Jonas), check it out.

In any case, I do really enjoy their song The Land of Gathering. It’s catchy, upbeat pop that you can feel good about listening to since they all play their own instruments and make music with meaning. Really though – catchy beat and easy to sing along with. A solid summer selection. It reminds me of Foster the People and you know what? I’m okay with that.

Definitely a solid summer selection. I LOVE POP!

And the Jonas brother...the Jew fro? I can see the Nick Jonas comparison for sure. Ha.
