A foiled plot: 'Anyone but Jillian' explained by Peter and weighed in on by Jillian

The final voting gong show during the Big Brother Canada finale may have been the talk around the water cooler today, but the more interesting story lies in the reason for the votes Gary Levy did receive and the foiled plot against the eventual winner.

Alec Beall and Peter Brown were both sent packing by the hand of the HOH queen Jillian Maclaughlin. Both of them considered themselves the masterminds of the game and far superior to the other houseguests. Unfortunately for them they were 7the and 5th evicted from the house. Not too shabby, but by no means as good as they claimed they were.

Peter and Alec were a little annoyed that they were not able to mind control everyone into keeping them in the house until the end and decided that they would get their revenge on the person that sent them packing.

After Peter made the comment about Jillian being an 'idiot and awful player' during the finale, I decided to inquire to where his hatred stemmed from. I mean, Peter realized this was a game right? No one killed his dog or anything. Jillian did what she needed to do, and yes, that was getting out him and Alec.
AJ, Alec, Topaz and Peter at the Jury House
I inquired with Peter who he had wanted to win after he got voted out of the house and that's when the plot was revealed. Not only did they (they being Alec, Peter, Topaz and AJ) have a plan to give the prize to the most (depending on how you look at it) undeserving person in the house the prize, but they also had an 'anyone but Jillian' philosophy.
"I wanted Talla to win and we were all going to form a jury alliance to make sure that Talla won over Emmett and Jillian," said Peter.
"We wanted to steal the game back from them and give it to us an award it to Talla because she tried her heart out the entire time and couldn't win a darn thing. We just wanted to award her with being so endearingly annoying."
Seriously Peter? This is your rationalization for wanting Talla to win - being endearingly annoying?  And "stealing the game back" seems like a strange thing for someone to try to do who is...not playing anymore.

He continues...
"The game did not stop in the jury house. Especially if you have Alec and I in there. We were working all day everyday because that's what we came here to do and we established that if Talla was in a final two scenario with Emmett or Jillian she was going to win," said Peter
"There was going to be a little bit of a kerfuffle if she was there with Gary because Topaz obviously wanted to vote for Gary, but I think that even still Talla may have won. It would have been hilarious and very much worth watching."
At this point it sounded like they wanted anyone but Jillian or Emmett to win. Was this the case?
"It was anyone but Jillian. Nobody wanted Jillian to win except for Andrew, but that's because he is in love with her," said Peter
"I liked Emmett and I think he is a great player and I would have voted for him over Jillian, but not over Gary. Our rational was Jillian would want Emmett to win and therefore we would deprive her of that and award it to Gary, among other reasons."
We wouldn't give Emmett money because that would make Jillian happy? Oh. My. Lord.

So that's where I left the situation with Peter. I would love to hear Alec's take on the situation because I am sure he would spin it as some sort of ridiculous thing that he would assume people would eat up like chocolate.

A little while later I talked to Jillian. Probably a little bit of a tough night for her - a very bittersweet win. I'd have felt guilty if I won due to a screwed vote, but luckily for her she had heard of the 'anyone but Jillian' plan that the jury members were plotting.

I would be THRILLED if I found that out and had won the way Jillian did. I'd think of it as karma and go put a down payment on a house (or buy one...I don't think they're drastically expensive in Nova Scotia).

When I asked Jillian about the votes for and against her she started telling me what I had heard from Peter an hour before...
"I think the jury house may or may not have had an alliance against me that involved Peter, Alec, Topaz and AJ," said Jillian.
"They all got kind of a thing where they did not want me to win it. No one has told me this 100%, but I know they were all in the jury house for a long time together and there's a lot of talking going on. Peter and Alec wanted to get me back in any way they could. They were really bitter about how I got them both out. So, they decided to really push for me not to win this game."
So what do we think...Peter and Alec are the poorest of poor sports in the history of this game, OR were they just so attached to it that they decided to continue the mind control once they were out and that is completely acceptable?

XOXO
Jes...

    2. I would have loved to seen Talla win! I had the same mind frame...I would have been ok if "anyone but jillian won" she's annoying and had to run everything past Emmett. She said she made big moves?????? LOL, every move she made was obvious! And to call her the queen of HOH's.... NO! technically she won 2, the third one should have been Topaz's, Topaz jumped off because Jillian knew she couldn't hold on any longer and tricked Topaz do jump off! I still can't believe she accepted the money when she wasn't the real winner

Tricking people is a massive part of the game. She is definitely the HOH Queen. Just because you're jealous of her doesn't take anything away from her. Go and be bitter somewhere else, fool! Topaz is a complete dumbass so it wouldn't be hard to trick her into doing anything you want. You can't believe she accepted the money? Of-course she accepted the money, she won the show! How is she not the "real" winner? Gary shouldn't have even been back in the house for a start. And then as far as players, she beat everybody in the house. Gary got beat twice, not once, TWICE!

    6. I too agree with the plot Alec and Peter had, and do NOT believe that AJ or Topaz are poor losers. I believe that Jillian floated to the end THANKS TO EMMETT. She couldn't have done SHIT without him, just like she admitted.

She WAS awful at the game, just got some lucky wins during HOH challenges. Not all of her wins were deserving - especially not the FINAL BBC win.

Jillian was also mean when it came to how she treated girls in the house. She was jealous and emotional, and basically used Emmett to make her EVERY move.

Really... she REALLY beat Gary? Ugh. He deserved it way more.

You are really dumb! Almost as dumb as Topaz to be honest. How can Jillian not understand the strategy required for winning?? She won and was never even on the block! How is that not "understanding the strategy required for winning"?

And the person saying she "floated to the end", are you for real? Floaters don't win HOH every other week, floaters don't have alliances, and more importantly, floaters don't WIN! And as for Gary, he shouldn't have been sent back in after spending weeks bonding with the jury. When people go to the jury house, they let their guards down and open up about all their alliances and sub-alliances, and they, for the first time, actually start becoming friends and don't look at each other as competition. Gary got a massive advantage over everybody else. Hence why the 4 that wanted to vote for Gary were the 4 that were in the jury house when he was there and the 3 that didn't, weren't. If anybody was to not accept the prize money, it should have been him. He stole Emmet or Talla's £20,000.

  3. Peter has proved twice now that he can't play this game at all. If I was Jillian I would have answered Peter's jury question "I'm sitting here, your sitting there, deal with it, I out played you." Peter says Jillian doesn't know how to play the game but should really have said Jillian wouldn't play the game my way. His first error in this game which many fail to point out although Jillian did, was he and Alec never went and talked to her, they talked to Emmett so she had no loyalty to them as she stated. They were fools to believe that Emmett was their puppet and therefore so was Jillian. First clue Emmett shouldn't be trusted he threw his alliance with Tom out the door when he realized it was bad for his game.

  4. As a huge fan of Big Brother US and now Canada, I was rooting for Jillian, but I roll with the punches, and had Gary won, I would have been just as happy for him. What put me off however with Peter and Alec was a) the comment Peter made about Jillian being an idiot and an awful player. Just uncalled for. Fine, don't like her, but there was no need for that. And b) I would think that Alec, as a social psychologist, would know that he looks ridiculous at this stage of it all to still be doing the shield sign every time the camera is on him. It's too bad, they could have been known as worthy opponents, instead Alec and Peter are now known as...yup, I'm going there....idiots and awful players.

  5. Both Peter and Alec (who I liked in the beginning) have to be the most pathetic losers of a game that I have ever seen!! They are just so bitter that a female outplayed them and got them out. To build a jury house alliance to not vote for the person that got you out is the saddest thing. And to do it with someone who cannot cast a vote correctly proves again that their judgment is off. They still look like goofs no matter how you look at it, including and up to that stupid arm sign they keep showing. It just shows us that they are two little boys playing in a big boy world. They need to grow up and stop being petty jealous losers. If not they can go back to their fantasy world together and live in harmony! Considering they will be living together after the show, this last part will be easy for them to do...they can wrestle, play fantasy games, pretend to be who ever they want to be and how smart they are.
Note to Peter: I hate stupid people too and right now all I can see is that you are one of them!

  10. Peter & Alec are the most pathetic whiny douche bag bitter losers of all time. They are even more pathetic than Jeff Schroeder. Alec used the Ho Topaz in the BB house and she knew he used her and she still fucked him (literally)in the jury house. Topaz, how does it feel to be used and thrown away like a wet rag? AJ should be ashamed of himself & Murtz should disown him as a friend for being so pathetic to go along with this just to be liked. P & A are immature, pathetic, sore bitter losers who not only failed playing the game in the BB house but also in the jury house. EPIC FAIL LOSERS! You lost not only once, but twice. LMFAO How does it feel to be morons? BBC will never have you play the game again. I guess karama really is a b*tch. If by chance, and that would be a very slim chance of BBC letting you play again, I hope someone does the same to both of you. How does it feel Peter, to have your idol Dan G. think Emmett played the best game, and Jillian the 2nd best game. LMFAO again! Again, Karma is a b*tch & it couldn't have happened to two more deserving pathetic losers.

  14. I was a fan of Peter up until the finale. I'm really disappointed in a guy who claims to be a huge Dan fan engineering the worst case of Bitter jury Syndrome (Which Dan succumbed to in BB14) in recorded history.

I think it's examples like BB14 and BBCanada (Though thankfully foiled by the idiocy of Topaz) that show the Jury system needs to be changed. Maybe have judges made up of past Big Brother alumni who have no vested interest or something, or instead of having a final 2 go to jury have them have a final competition so the winner truly earns it I don't have all the answers but I know the jury system impedes the best part of Big Brother, the backstabbing by making players afraid to go hard after their targets for fear of BJS.

    1. I think your idea is an excellent one. Have past alumni be judges. This way they can watch the show and know who is the best player, not the nicest player. A lot of times when you are in the house, you don't know who the best player is because you don't see everything or you are so bitter against that person, you don't want them to win. Great idea.

  16. I was a huge fan of Peter's (not so much Alec) for the majority of the game. The night he was evicted, he became an emotional trainwreck and I felt bad for the guy who's whole sense of being was tied into this game. But then at then at the finale, his emotional turmoil turned darker and he was honestly repulsive. If this "anyone but Jillian" is true, I have lost all respect. How can he claim to be a superfan if he shows no respect for the game, and was willing to vote for Talla?

Peter Brown is a lie. He's not a cold-hearted unemotional, rationale being like he thinks. He is a weak, depressed nerd who desperately needs some mental health care. I was all prepared to watch his youtube channel and be a continuing fan of his. Now I'm just repulsed.

If they love the big brother game they woul never have come up with a scenario like that.
They would have looked at who in their mind played the game the best and voted accordingly.
And what did they do in the game?
When Alec was HOH he got rid of Suzette,a big move that was.

  23. Gary did what Jillian and none of the other HG could do. He won final HOH and evicted, the main threat, Emmett from the game..Same big deal as Ian winning over Dan last season BBUS. Gary was the clear winner with 4 votes. The hosts count of only the error key malfunction, mistake vote, not the jurors objection to same, is a sham. Topaz was set up to look like the bad person to blame for production's gross incompetence and endless interference to try and control the game....

And she never said she voted for Gary, all she said is someone switched it.

    2. Hey..Topaz didn't vote for Jillian on purpose. That's just nonsense. Topaz was very upset. Very brave to get up and challenge production's mistake. And that they got her vote wrong is definitely a production error... Topaz begged. She pleaded. She was devastated.. Most likely this (Topaz for jillan) bull-droppings is a rumour started by Villian and/or fans. Jill a source of endless recreational lies defending her lack of strategy and a moral compass in the game.. Nor did I see Topaz sleeping during the finale..

Did you see her after Tom opened the shower door on Alec.
Thats when she was really upsrt and mad.
And like i said she never said i voted for Gary.
It was when she asked her question for Gary and he answered that he had a alliance with Emmet from day two that she changed her mind.
Go back and watch the show and look at her face when Gary answeres the question.

  24. As for the great debate using the "rules" to justify robbing Gary, the real winner, of the big prizes and giving the money to the jury's only other choice, Jillian.
What rules? The point of rules is to protect not disqualify a winner. Gary didn't break any rules. This wasn't a comp. No comparison.
At least half an hour past between the jury's key votes into a machine and the host count of these votes. Where's the proof the host didn't make a mistake. Or the key Topaz put in didn't malfunction.. Or her key had one side Gary other side Jillian. Films clips can be edited.. There was time for mischief..
That aside, the point is production chose to not count the physical verbal objection by Topaz the juror with the authority to cast a vote.. This objection immediate and clear before the count was complete. No, production chose to mostly ignore not investigate the challenge, by Topaz. E.g. didn't check black/box/bag with the other key. She had two keys remember. No production chose to only count the error machine key vote as presented by the host as valid.. No one polled the jury. Asked them to stand and state who they voted for to confirm the key results.. This in itself so outrageous.
What's wrong here. Nobody, in a democratic society counts a spoiled ballot. Topaz immediate on the spot objection spoiled her key box machine ballot. She couldn't have been more clear.. She did not vote for Jillian. The rules anywhere would say it was really a tie vote.
I find it mind-boggling that fans prefer to critique indiviual game play now and mostly ignore the injustice. Gary was robbed. Topaz was blamed for production gross incompetence.. Personaly I think Peter and Alex tried to play the game but couldn't compete with production's twist and vision. The contestants only props not players in a scripted fake reality show.

You're an idiot! Do you honestly believe that production done something with the edit to make Jillian win over Gary? They obviously wanted Gary to win, hence them putting him back in with a week to go, and after spending weeks with he other jury members. Why would they go to all that trouble and then alter it so Jillian won?

And it wasn't Gary that was "robbed", it was Emmet or Talla. Gary stole their $20,000. Why should he get 2 lives when everybody else gets 1? And his pathetic reasoning as to why he deserved his 2nd chance, "I was on slop the entire time, I stayed awake for 24 hours" You were on slop as part of a POV challenge same as the staying awake for 24 hours. And he didn't even stay awake for 24 hours as he was sleeping on the couch, plus he was eating cheese and adding it to the slop. If you asked any of the others in the jury house if they wanted to go back in but they needed to be on slop and stay awake for 24hrs, they have jumped at the chance.

How anybody can actually think Gary deserved to win over anybody else is beyond me. I wanted him to win before he got evicted but not after he went back in with the huge advantage over everybody left in. Production wanted him to win from the start, hence them saving Suzette when she was on the block and then throwing him back in with a week to go.

Telling Gary that he robbed him of what was his.
And then saying no one should have two lives in Big Brother.
But when Emmet had the chance to vote Gary out he did not because he thought it was better for his game.
So only after the fact he brings up no one should have a second chance.
He was the only one that could have sent Gary packing and did not so do not complain afterwards.
He kept Gary because it was better for his game and then he got beat so now no one should have a second life in the game.
      Thats pretty lame.

    2. Yeah maybe, but he just left the house. Peter and Alec had several weeks to decompress but were actually much more bitter than Emmett imo. What is their excuse?? The fact that they devised a plan "anyone but Jillian" is deplorable. They are both D-bags and because of their bitterness & plotting will not be asked back if there is an opportunity. They did it to themselves. AJ and Topaz being manipulated by them and doing what they wanted will not be asked back as well. If they are, BBC will have complaints up their a$$. They usually sequester hgs they bring back, alone in a hotel room. This is before jury ever starts. Gary had an unfair advantage as he knew they all hated Jill and would not vote for her in the end. Bringing back someone at F4 is unheard of. That is just too late. Emmett kept Gary only because he did get a second life in the BB house and thought no one would vote for him. Gary was able to interact with the jury without the pressure of the game. That is just ridiculous.

  28. Jillian is so smug about her default win, squawking "rules are rules" to anyone asking about her win by default, when it was clear that Topaz' intention was to vote for Gary to win.
If rules are rules, perhaps Jillian should have been disqualified due to going overtime on her final speech.
Maybe Emmett should have been disqualified at the point of yelling out during the final HOH challenge about the minus sign?
What was clear is that Topaz intention was for Gary to stay, using a technicality to justify her "win".
Jillian MacLaughlin should do the right thing and offer to split the prize with the real winner if she ever wants to salvage the Canadian public's opinion of her.

  29. Peter and Alec were poor sports. More so Peter...he has a superiority complex. Being outsmarted by Jillian would be like Sheldon from "Big Bang" being outsmarted by Leonard. He can't deal with it. If Peter was the superior player he thought he was, he should have won at least one HOH. Gary handled the situation with style but Jillian, in my opinion, earned the win. Facts are facts...You win a lot of HOH competitions...you get blamed for evictions! When Gary had HOH he was an advocate of big moves. Big moves make enemies. By coming back to the game later he was able to avoid getting blood on his hands. Fate made things right.

And then there's Alec, those bright green trainers, where the hell did he get them? Looks like he coloured them in with a highlighter pen. He actually thinks he looks good too. Dude, you really don't!!!!

The 2 most bitter people to ever play the game, by far!

Haha, he wore them quite a few times aswell. I noticed him wearing them at his eviction and then when we seen in the jury house for the first time. And then he wears them at the finale pmsl. Ye couldnae miss them tbh. He probably spotted them from 500 yards and thought, "I WANT THEM!!!" HAHAHA

  33. I think peter , alec and topaz are ridiculous theyre just jealous they got voted out of the house .. sence day 1 they thought they were gunna win it all .. back fired didnt it? If anyone deserved this game it was Jillian Emmett Or Andrew .. yes gary did his part to be in the house but he also got a second chance and if it wasnt for that he wouldnt of been in the final 2. like it says jillians the HOH queen she done her part to stay in the house along with emmett and andrew .

  34. Jillian only said that about them because she is trying her best to justify her win when EVERYONE knows that she only won by default, by a mistake. Keep telling yourself that Jillian, but when you go to bed at night, you know EXACTLY how you won that $100,000 and not because the majority of the jury house wanted you to. LOL

The majority of the jury house are idiots. Do you honestly think she'll be thinking about how she won the $100,000? She'll be thinking of what to spend it on! hahahaha Jealous much?

  37. Wow. And here I was thinking that the BBUS14 jury was the biggest bunch of crybabies. These morons clearly take the prize. Topaz's blunder was KARMA at it's finest. I'm sorry, but I could never condone a winner who got a two week furlough in the jury house gathering intel from the other jurors before being voted back into the house. Jillian deserves her win -- 150%.

  38. Either way, like Jill, like Gary, Hate them live them whatever it is, the fact is Topaz made a STUPID MISTAKE, she should have triple checked that Gary's name was on there!! that being said, she KNOWS SHE LOST and that she doesnt deserve the money based on what the votes truly were! SHAME on BBCAN for not making it right!!! I.mean at least throw the guy the shopping spree or a lil. extra money to show that she is at least a halfway decent human being!!! She's a teacher for God's sake!! SHE is SUPPOSED to be a role model for her children she teaches and sadly all she is teaching them is try to win at any cost, lie, cheat, and even when dishonesty is proven your reason for winning just smile and say oh well, i won, doesnt matter how as long as u win! and i thought Canadians were supposed to be the nicest more honest people.
