Reese Witherspoon gets arrested for disorderly conduct

Reese Witherspoon was arrested for disorderly conduct last night. Could it be America's Sweetheart is also a bad ass?

Probably not.

Reese and her husband Jim Toth, who was driving, were pulled over in Atlanta on Friday night under suspicion of driving under the influence. Toth was charged with a DUI and Reese was arrested for disorderly conduct after she failed to obey the officers orders to stay in the vehicle.

According to Variety an exchange went down like this...

Officer: “I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet...Mrs. Witherspoon asked, ‘Do you know my name?’ I answered, ‘No, I don’t need to know your name.’ I then added, ‘right now.’ Mrs. Witherspoon stated, ‘You’re about to find out who I am.’”

DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?! I always wonder who actually does this, obviously people do. It's kind of gross.

Anyways, the pair were detained and released at 3:00 AM on Saturday morning.

Nice Reese, just don't have an Amanda Bynes like meltdown and we're good. And stop letting your husband drink and drive, fack.

UPDATE: Mug shot.

XOXO
Jes...

  1. Reese use her popularity as an excuse of DUI arrest. As public icon should not act this way an abusive of her power over the arresting cop. They can ask help from DUI lawyer to fix things about her husbands DUI arrest and her behavior towards an arresting officer.
