Ellen Page to direct first feature film

Canadian Ellen Page has been tapped to direct her first feature film titled Miss Stevens.

The film is about a high school teacher whose life is a mess. She is chaperoning a group of drama students on a weekend trip and her life changes.

Oh...and Anna Faris is playing the lead.

I have no idea if this is going to be along the lines of Bad Teacher or Freedom Writers, but with Anna Faris as the lead I would have to go with the former.

I am interested to see what Ms. Page can do from behind the lens as we know she is fantastic in front of it.
