Let's all just stop talking about Big Bird, even he doesn't like the attention!

Seen the most recent attack add by the Obama's campaign? It features a giant yellow bird, because that is what real politics are all about right?

After Mitt Romney said he would cut the subsidies to PBS (which airs Seasame Street) if he got elected, you would think that the folks over at the Street would be thrilled that President Obama was using Big Bird in an attack ad against Mitt Romney's campaign. This is not the case.

I am surprised that Bama's campaign doesn't have IP lawyers on their task force, but it seems that they don't...because no one asked the Street if they could use the Bird and Seasame Workshop (the not profit behind the show) says cut. it. out.

In a statement released by the group they said, "We have approved no campaign ads, and as is our general practice, have requested that the ad be taken down...Sesame Workshop is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization and we do not endorse candidates or participate in political campaigns."

Some puppets gave the Prez a hand slap. Well that's nice. Another copyright story for the books.

The bigger question here for me is...what the hell happened at the debate? No, I am VERY serious. I didn't watch it, but I did hear that Bama bombed (which is shocking because his speaking is like his secret samurai sword) and Mitt Romney said he would cut the funds PBS.

Now I would THINK that Romney 'winning' the debate can not solely rest on the fact that he wanted to put a muzzle on Elmo. Can it? No. Someone give me some legitimate information here because I've had it up to here with Big Bird. Didn't like that yellow fool when I was 5 and I am tired of him all over the grown up news.

Side note: This video was taken from the official Barack Obama You Tube page BarackObamadotcom - as of the date of this post the video still exists. Puppets don't scare Bama apparently.
