Movie Madness: Out This Weekend

A weekend where I would actually consider going to a children's movie?! WTF.

...please note that I am slightly delirious from my real job and all that being a grown up entails: not eating, not sleeping, working until it is dark and walking home while trying not to pass out because you haven't eaten all day and then getting mowed down by hipsters on bikes...the usual. You pretty much need to disregard everything that I write for the next two weeks. It's a safe bet.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter
This movie looks absolutely ridiculous. When I first saw the trailer I thought it wasn't a real it is, clearly, and I want nothing to do with it.

As far as kids movies go this looks pretty legit. If someone was dumb enough to ask me to look after their kids I would take them to this movie...with a flask of course. I can only handle children while heavily medicated.

Seeking a Friend for the End of the World
I would like to see what would happen if the governments of the world told us all that we all had a couple weeks left before the world was destroyed...would people lose their shit and riot or would they just try to do things that they never got to do before we all ceased to exist. I would hope for the second, but you could probably expect the first. That is what I have come to believe about the world based on movies. Oh, and this one looks OK. Love Steve Carell.

Your Sister's Sister
Well this it could be slow as hell or pretty decent. Hard to say from the preview.

My Pick: Seeking a Friend for the End of the World. You know I must really want you to see this if I took the time to type out that whole title twice in one post.
