Movie Madness: Out This Weekend

Avengers have managed to rake in over a billion dollars. Wowza...and I have doubts that any of these films can knock it from #1, but they can try.

Ugh....please. Taylor Kitsch is hot, as is Alexandar Skarsgard...but this just looks a little too ridiculous. Not even Liam Neeson can get them out of this alive (it's gonna end like The Grey...I know it). The only reason I would watch it is to see if Rihanna has acting chops.

Bernie (Limited)
At the beginning you watch the trailer and think...dumb, then...cute,, WTF. Shirley Maclaine is pretty damn funny so this may be good...but dark humour is not really my thing.

The Dictator
This gem is already out, but I am pretty pumped to see it. I never saw Borat, no desire. Saw Bruno and was not impressed, but I think Sacha may have found his calling. Or maybe I am just buying into all the sick marketing they have been doing for this show. Dumping the contents of an urn on Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet will go down in history as one of the best carpet moments ever.

The Samaritan (Limited)
Remember in Deep Blue Sea when the shark jumps out of the water and eats Samuel L Jackson alive? I just didn't expect him to ever let anyone kill him like that in a movie. Anyways, after watching Avengers my friend said to me..."Samuel L Jackson is in EV-RE-THING." So true. Thus, he is in this new movie that looks kind of weird and gives away the possible twist in the trailer. Lame.

Virginia (Limited)
I think, if I see this, it'll be the best thing I will ever see Jennifer Connelly in. She looks absolutely insane in this movie. Love it.

What to Expect When You're Expecting
Elizabeth Banks. Dude group. Chace Crawford. All things I love. Plus I have two friends who, at this very moment are extremely pregs...I shall watch this, think of them and then go get my tubes tied.

My Pick: The Dictator. It was a toss up between WTEWYE and Cohen, but making fun of Americans always wins out.
