Calgary Stampede Announces Coke Stage line-up: The good, the bad, and Carly Rae Jepsen

The Calgary Stampede has released their line up for the Coca-Cola Stage during the Stampede. Every year there are a couple of desirable acts. Most just up and coming Canadian pop bands or older groups who are recognizable, but not really 'hip' by radio standards anymore.

This year, for the 100th anniversary, everyone was expecting a stellar line up. And I would say this is a pretty good group. I mean there is the standard cheesy Canadian peeps that you only know because of CanCon, but there are some people there that I would pay to see as well. Remember, the Coke stage is a free show once you enter the park.

I was watching this video and the only thing I remember thinking was "OMFG, Big Sugar is still around?!" and "I wonder if I could get drunk with The Sheepdogs." Oh...and there was also that moment where I was thinking is "recognized by Justin Bieber as one of Canada's hottest talents' really necessary or even a good sell for Carly Rae Jepsen? It felt so awkward.

Anyways, watch the video for the whole line up. Start filling your Stampede piggy banks kids, it's just over a month away!
