Stick with Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23? Maybe

I have been saying for ages that I can't wait until the comeback of James Van Der Beek. This show may not be it, but it definitely gives us a heavy dose of the man, and I love it.

James plays himself, in name, on the show. He is best friends with Chloe, the bitch in apartment 23, and is trying to deal with the fact that people only see him as Dawson Leery from Dawson's Creek. In reality James is twice married and has a couple kids, but on the show he is a single pimp that currently has no career future (they don't make him look sad and desperate, don't worry).

The other story line, the main one, is of Chloe and June. Chloe gets roommates, charges them too much for rent and then drives them out by being a huss and then keeps their damage deposit. June is a mid-west girl who moves to New York for a Wall Street job. Her company goes under the day she arrives and she moves in with Chloe and start working at a coffee shop.

All in all I think this will be a funny little sitcom. I am not sure if I would be that into it without James Van Der Beek. The apartment 23 aspect would give it a season run, but I think James may put this show on the map...given that the whole "poor James, girls only like him cause he was Dawson" theme doesn't get old by episode 4.

I'll watch. For now.
