Sacha Baron Cohen's Dictator releases statement on Kim Jong-Il passing

North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il passed away on Sunday (or Saturday, depends what you read) and the world was like....'oh...WE DID NOT SEE THIS COMING!' Cause he is bat shit insane and everything. The jabs were flying all over Twitter and half of the 12-25 demographic got confused and thought Kim Kardashian died (some rejoiced some mourned...not sure of percentages).

With his newest film The Dictator coming out in May you had to know that Sacha Baron Cohen would have something to say about this...or his dictator alter-ego General Aladeen would. It was almost perfect timing (in the new year would probably have been better).

He talks about K-Jo and welcomes his son Kim Jong-un into the Axis of Evil fold.

I wish he would have talked more about the weird stuff that Kim kidnapping a South Korean film maker to make a Godzilla rip-off, pretending that he invented the hamburger, telling people he was supernatural AND that at one point in the 90s he would spent an average of $700,000 a year on Hennessy.  That last one is not's just plain bad-ass awesome.
