Top 5: Places to get your Christmas Gifts

Ah, Christmas time is here. Black Friday is over so the season of red and green is officially upon us. That means it is time to use the creative part of your brain and start thinking of some gifts to give your family and friends. Or you can just forgo the gift giving all together, but people will think you are a cheap, grinchy loser....I would not recommend this.

If you are anything like me and you hate kids, families, old people, young people, ladies, men, boys and girls then you may want to check out some of these online stores for some gift ideas. Keep in mind that if you want to order online and have your gifts arrive by Christmas to check out each sites shipping information.

The last on the list is not an online store, but rather a grand event...so if you are a people hater you may want to bypass, but all others take note.

Why not get your giftee a couple of tickets to see their favorite band or show? Experience gifts are some of the best. They get excited when they get the tickets and then again when they go. So you are a hero TWICE instead of just once. Best.

eBay
I am not going to pretend that it is super easy to find stuff on eBay as gifts...BUT if you have something specific that you are looking for that you can't find anywhere else ebay is the way to go. It is the online garage sale. Their junk is your treasure...or your dad's, mom's, grandpa's etc.

This is a killer website for smaller gifts and stocking stuffers. They have everything from unique iPhone covers to 'ninjabread' cookie cutters. So fun!

Now this is not a site that has multiple gifts...it is more so a one gift kind of stop. I think it would be rad to see multiple people walking down the street talking into those receivers. So rad in fact I want one. Add that shizz to my Christmas list.

So if you are in Calgary and want a shopping 'experience' you should had on down to the CORE on Wednesday November 30 at 6:30 for the CORE's Twas the Night event. Chantal Kreviazuk is going to be performing, blogger Lainey Gossip will be hosting the red carpet, there will be food and bevies throughout the mall AND each store will have a special one night only deal. Rad. It costs $15 and that money goes to charity (it being the season of giving and all) United Way's BeCause and the National Music Centre will be the recipients. Sounds like a pretty good deal...even better because I always feel bad about not giving money to charity at Christmas cause I spend my money on gifts...but now BAM, two in one. Holler.

XOXO

  1. These are all great places to buy gifts, but don't rule out retail websites and shops, either. Sometimes you can get great deals. A unique gift option for girls is a high grade hair tool like the U-Smooth iron. Right now, you can buy a full-sized red iron and get a mini free - two gifts for the price of one!
