#NowPlaying MG's Pick of the Week: Library Voices (Guest Post)

When Jes asked me if I’d like to write something on new music for her blog each week, I jumped at the opportunity. I’m a bit of a music junkie, so getting to share some of my great finds with others is right up my alley.

I’m going to kick the series off with one of my favourite Canadian bands of the moment – Library Voices. One of the better things to come out of Regina, Library Voices is an eight piece indie pop ensemble that will overrun your brain with their widely infectious songs.

Seriously. Listen to one and just try and not listen to something else by them – it’s impossible. I’m pretty excited to see these guys live next week at Halifax Pop Explosion, and you should probably try and check them out, too.

Approved. Hopefully MG will continue to bring us good tunes for weeks to come...if not, I will be putting in my two no Owl City. You hear me!?

And if you don't live in Halifax (and since I don't I expect most people do not) here are the rest of their tour dates:

Oct 14 Kingston, ON Mansion
Oct 15 Wakefield, ON Black Sheep Inn
Oct 18 Charlottetown, PEI Baba's
Oct 19 Moncton, NB Plan B
Oct 20 Fredericton, NB Capital
Oct 21 Halifax, NS Halifax Pop Explosion - Seahorse Tavern
Oct 25 Quebec City, PQ Le Cercle
Oct 26 Montreal, PQ Casa De Popolo
Oct 27 Peterborough, ON Trash
Oct 28 Toronto, ON Horseshoe Tavern
