Big & Rich with Gretchen Wilson at the Roundup

Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy is pretty much a karaoke staple...right up there with Don't Stop Believing and Sweet Caroline. One of my happiest moments of Stampede so far was jamming out to Big & Rich sing their amazing tune at the Stampede Roundup. Loved it!

Big Kenny such a cracks me up. They are such an odd duo, John Rich all proper cowboy and Big with his weird hats and crazy hair. It works though, and it makes watching them even more entertaining. I was kind of confused by their, what looked like, running pants. Is there a story behind this that I don't know of?

Gretchen Wilson also took the stage with Big & Rich. She was introduced as one of the best singers 'of all time.' She's good, but come on people. She ain't got nothin on Celine. The women can rock out though I will give her that.

I had no idea who who the third guy who was performing in that set was named Cowboy Troy. All I could think was...'That's not the guy from Hootie and the Blowfish' followed by disappointment. He is one of those rapping cowboys...they are becoming way to frequent for me to be comfortable with. Yuck.

All in all though...Roundup success!
