Ed Westwick was quoted in a interview with Tatler magazine saying something along the line of "I am ready for new things" ... and that was interpreted by many, myself included, as "get me off this sinking ship." I guess that may have been a PR nightmare for the show and Ed has since said that he was only saying that he wants to do outside projects as well as GG, not leave the show entirely.  And here I was thinking that he was a smart human. Dumb Jes, dumb.
