Piper Perabo's spy drama Covert Affairs hits Show Case on January 9.  You may remember her from her days as a bar star on Coyote Ugly, but in this show she plays a rookie CIA agent who sees to be well on her way to James Bond type tendencies, except the whore part.

The first season has already aired in the States (on USA) so there is a possibility that you have already seen it, but for those of you who haven't I think you should check it out.  Perabo just got nominated for a Golden Globe for her part in the show and if that wasn't awesome enough, Peter f-cking Gallagher is in it as well.  I heart P Gallgs, but I am concerned as the opening credits it reads him as "guest starring" which is not ok...if Sandy Cohen is not committed full time, I don't know if I can be either.

Also...the music in the show seems to be picked by a super legit person. Florence AND Chairlift within the first two episodes. Love.
