NKOTBSB Have Heard About the $$$ In YYC?

So as you all know the Backstreet Boys and New Kids on the Block are going on tour. For a while the only Canadian date they had was Toronto and I was thinking I was going to have to make a trip east...but then they announced some more dates including one in Vancouver...which I promptly bought tickets for.

The highest priced ticket in Toronto was $106 and the same for Vancouver.  So obviously that is what I paid (I will spare no expense for my boys).

Then they announced that there will be a show in Edmonton and Calgary during the Stampede. Obviously I was pissed...but then I found out how much the top tier Calgary tickets cost...$250. More than DOUBLE of all the other Canadian shows (Edmonton was $101).

That just doesn't seem fair...since it is the same tour.  I am assuming that it is because they are coming during the Stampede, but come on guys. You could have come the week before and you would have got the same audience.

I think the Calgary fans should flip the bird to the Stampede and go to the Edmonton show...yes you will have to go to hell and back, but it will be worth it.

UPDATE: Ticketmaster has changed the prices on the tickets. Yay for Calgary fans! Prices now range from $73 - $117.  Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10AM.

According to ticketmaster the cheapest ticket for the non-VIP is $139
